These are the personal projects of Jimmy Welch.  They are an ongoing series of work that follow his interests over the past 20 years. His work is one of harmonious muted colour palettes, heavily influenced by nature.

His plant series blurs the lines between painting and photography. Looking at the world from the ground up in dreamy washed out compositions. He builds micro worlds where nature intertwines and fights for dominance.      

His travel work often encapsulates man's mark on the landscape. Photographing simple compositions, straight lines and symmetry. His images are often devoid of the human element that would inhabit them.          

Based in Manchester, England, Jimmy has worked full time for the past 15 years as a successful advertising photographer and videographer. 

Outside of the commercial world he is always happy to hear from Artists, Designers and Editors who may want to collaborate or work on projects.
